This Dizzy Life

Pull me out from inside. I am ready, I am ready, I am fine.

Last night I attempted to continue writing this. However, I had to contend with an enforced nap (I had to say yes) followed by another evening of mindless television.In addition to this, bf had gotten carried away with some cough syrup, not realising the side effects that would inevitably be incurred. Needless to say, any attempts to finally get around to writing during the blessed advertising breaks were promptly shot down my whichever infinitely more mindless conversation came out of the mouth of the cough syrup monster (mostly about how it’s so funny that my feet are bigger than my head when they’re closer to him, followed by giggling fits). I eventually gave up and went to bed after the cough syrup monster dropped a cigarette on the nice new carpet and promptly went about proving there were no injuries to the carpet by holding a lighter precariously less than half an inch above the highly flammable wisps of carpetness.

Anyway, I finally get to posting the rules for this challenge.

After much deliberation, the rules state that I can say no to something if:

  1. Saying yes is likely to jeopardise my relationship;
  2. Saying yes is likely to jeopardise my job;
  3. Saying yes is likely to cause trouble financially;
  4. Saying yes goes against morals, basic decent humanity or is likely to hurt someone;
  5. Saying yes incurs a clash with something I have previously said yes to; or
  6. Saying yes makes me do something which is physically impossible.

Easy!

So, now I’ve been doing this for nearly 2 full days. You’d think something interesting might have happened. Not so.

Apart from a backlog of emails yesterday morning causing me to agree to after-works drinks next Monday, a spot of paintballing and a houseparty in London next month; the list of things I have done upon being asked is pretty boring.

So far I have watched way too much tv, had a nap, gone for a walk to the shop for 2 lunchtimes, drank some water, drank some coffee, fetched teas, turned some lights on, taken some dishes to the kitchen and fetched some cakes. I also had to twist my body about to cause my (now slightly too small) top to pop open. I was wearing this over another top. So far this is the most boring thing I’ve ever done! I’ll try get some photos if I ever get around to doing anything even vaguely interesting.
